For A Friend

You hold the key
To escape your impending fall,
But someday you’ll want help from me.

Like always, you’ll just let everything be;
It will stay there, no matter how small,
Now all your mistakes are out to see.

You want to linger on alone, but we
Don’t want to watch you hit that wall,
But someday you’ll want help from me.

You’ve made your mark on society
You would never stop and stall,
Now all your mistakes are out to see.

Your watch your life crumble as you stare plainly,
And you know you should call,
But someday you’ll want help from me.

You think you stand alone and refuse to notice me,
They’ve left you, one and all,
Now all your mistakes are out to see,
But someday you’ll want help from me.
