A Change Needs to be Acomin’

We live in a world of prejudice and war,
And it is so hard to stop.
Many people dying, and still there are more,
To lose loved ones, when they drop.

Someone please tell me,
at the end of the day,
are we really that different?
What gives YOU the right to count them out?!

What are we supposed to tell our children,
when their family doesn’t come home?
When you have the answer, tell me then.
I am already distraught from being alone.

This world is what we make it.
It doesn’t have to be this way,
It can’t stay this way.

Someone please tell me,
at the end of the day,
are we really that different?
What gives YOU the right to count them out?!

We know inside what is to be done now.
We all have a duty, living in America.
This is our chance to show the world how.
Join me in my crusade, won’t ya?

This world is what we make it.
It doesn’t have to be this way,
It can’t stay this way.

Someone please tell me,
at the end of the day,
are we really that different?
What gives YOU the right to count them out?!

Someone please tell me,
at the end of the day,
are we really that different?
What gives YOU the right to count them out?

Good message. Don't throw off the rhythm for the sake of the rhyme, though:
"We live in a world of prejudice and war,
And it is so hard to stop.
Certain people preaching what they think is the only lore,
And those people I just wanna pop!" (The third line is really long...)

INSPIRING!!! If this is supposed to be a song, do you want more of it to rhyme? It might be easier to imagine it as a song if more of it rhymed. I liked the part where you said "Join my crusade, won't ya?" I think you should repeat that line somewhere. And maybe work on the rhythm a little bit?
