Nature

Orange and Copper,
A rusty shade.
The rock looking sunburned,
While a green weed tumbles through.
Almost dry almost gone.
Rough rock dusty all over.
Holes, hiding places for the smallest creatures,
This rock scaled by climbers.
The peaceful silence,
Only slightly disturbed by the Echoes ,
And the scratching of little chipmunks.
Shades of blue seen in the distance,
Valleys down below.
Watch your step or
You will fall
To sunken dark depths.
What you once saw and
Admired in the distance,
Becomes your new home.
And after the screams,
And after the thud,
This scene becomes peaceful again.

HI MARTA!!!! This is a great poem for imagery, and I can really see this forest scene in my mind. I don't really understand the screams and thud, but the rest of it is really pretty. :D
