Could You Be Any Bird I'd Like?

I watch you ready for death
With not a single tear shed
Could you be a bird, any bird I’d like?
I wish you were a Phoenix
With all my heart and soul
For if you were
I’d take care of you forever
Now please,
I don’t want anything else
I just wished you were a Phoenix
For now you never move
You became paler and I realized
This wish won’t come true because it already failed

I like the part about the phoenix. Is the title jumbled on purpose? It just confused me a bit.

I noticed the title, too. it did catch my eye if that is what you were going for with the title. i also like the pheonix metaphor.
good job!

Wow, I really like the title. It caught my eye as I was scrolling down the list, and really it was enigmatic. I had to find out what was behind it. :)
