That time I thought I was in love.
He was perfect, he seemed to have no flaws,
until the day he cheated.
Why did I take him back?
I really thought I loved him enough to
accept his apology.
But the apologies became more and more frequent.
My mind was telling me to let him go,
but my heart kept telling me no.
And so the months dragged on.
