We were so deceived
You fell asleep with him in mind for ten months
You woke up with him in mind for ten months
Did you really think this was his first time?
Did you really think you’d make it, with everything that happened?
You’ve only got yourself to blame
You were the canary, he was the coalmine
But you didn’t realize
He breaks hearts as easily as razors do wrists

Oh, a title? How about something like "The Coalmine Canary"?
