Uncertainty is a funny word
One moment it's a blessing,
The next it can be a curse
The fear and pain that come with it
Are nothing, to when you finally know
And the answer is wrong

In your heart you know,
That this cannot be true
yet all the signs point to yes
and it was better not knowing
It was better living with a hope
That, things were still going your way
